Household Pet Policy

*Bringing Horses? See below

Here at the ranch we are very much animal lovers.  Some of our cabins do allow you one or two medium/large dogs (over 50lbs) or three small/medium dogs (under 50 lbs) to enjoy a trip to the ranch together.

Be sure to select the option “Bringing a Pet” section and number of dogs when you are making your reservation.

  • Your dog must be leashed at all times while on ranch property.
  • Please be courteous to other guests and clean up after your pets. There are disposal bags in both pavilions.
  • Your dog is not allowed on furniture or beds at any time. Dogs are not to be left unattended.
  • Any dog hair found on beds or damage caused by your pooch will incur an additional charge of $200 for cleaning and damage repair.
  • Guests bringing dogs must keep their pets leashed while on ranch property.
  • There is a nominal $25-50 pet cleaning fee per stay.

Horse Policy

Because we are a horse ranch we welcome our guests to bring their horses to enjoy Beautiful Colorado.

When making reservation you will need to indicate the number of horses coming so that we can ensure there are enough pens available. The pen rental for each horse is $10.00 per day. Click here to download the basic maps of the surrounding National Forest Service roads and trails. We also recommend downloading the Avenza App ahead of time. This app utilizes the GPS locator in your phone to track your location on a downloaded .pdf in case of cell service loss. Download the Pike NF – Pike’s Peak Ranger District, Pike NF - South Park Ranger District Map, and the Tarryall and Lost Creek Hiking trails.
